Multi-Combination (MC)


TLILIC3018 Licence to drive a multi-combination vehicle

  • B-doubles and Road trains
  • Prime mover, low loader dolly and low loader trailer combinations
  • You must have held a Class HR or HC licence or equivalent for at least 1 year. You can’t practice to drive an MC vehicle, or upgrade to an MC licence until you hold a full class HR or HC licence

    2. Call Service NSW or Book Online for your Driver Knowledge Test for a Rigid Vehicle

    3. Pass the Driver Knowledge Test
    4. Purchase the Learners Logbook and Guides from Service NSW
    5. For an MC Licence you will need to complete a medical – a form can be obtained from Service NSW
    6. Call bctraining to book your training and Heavy Vehicle Competency Based Assessment (HVCBA)
    7. Once you have passed your assessment all you need to do is return to Service NSW to have your new photo licence processed

ACT Licence holders – This unit of competency is MANDATORY.
